The Partial Flow Diesel
Particulate Filter
(DPF)
is capable of providing particulate reductions of up to
60%, enabling Euro2 vehicles to meet Euro3 LEZ
Compliance. Some products are temperature dependant due
to the catalytic action of the technology |
|
| |
These
Technologies have little or no maintenance and do not
receive reduced pollution rebates |

Higher Cost Option for Euro2
to Euro4 - Compliance beyond 2012 |

The Full
Flow Diesel Particulate Filter
(DPF) provides reductions of particulates
in excess of 90%. The substrate material is normally
either a ceramic that is applied with a catalyst
coating for passive regeneration, or an uncoated
silicon carbide substrate with a hydrocarbon catalyst
upstream that reacts with a fuel injection system to
actively regenerate the soot trapped by the filter.
All of these technologies are temperature dependant
due to the catalytic action of the technology |
| |
These Technologies will
require at least annual maintenance but normally benefit
by around £230 per annum for reduced pollution
certification |
